Coding has been a buzzword in education the past few years. Hour of Code is a great teaser, now see what deeper options can lie behind it from a curriculum standpoint. We will explore a variety of coding connections to real-world objects with Sphero, Myo armbands, Cubetto, Philips Hue, and more. Also, we will explore ways to use the Internet of Things (IoT) to collect data on campus and to use the Physical Web to disseminate schoolwide information with ease.
